This policy covers the treatment of all personal information that
Ashley Strickland's Children Corporation (ASCC) collects when you visit one of our web pages. ASCC recognizes the importance of
protecting the privacy of all users of our websites, donors, registrants for special events, and our customers. The relationships
that we have with our donors and the users of our websites are very important to us. As a result, the right to privacy is
something to which we at ASCC attach a great importance.
|
E-mail Newsletters
We encourage our ASCC users to subscribe to our e-mail newsletters. In those events, we ask for contact information
(such as name, e-mail address and, occasionally, demographic information). We use this information as we use contact information
in the registration process described above. Recipients of our newsletters can unsubscribe using the instructions listed at the
bottom of the e-mail newsletter.
|
Online Donations
For fundraising events and donations that are completed through our secure online credit card service, we collect credit
card information (such as account name, number and expiration date), which is used for billing purposes only, and is not
otherwise shared.
|
Communications with Us
Our website has features whereby users can email us. Requests for information may be forwarded as needed to best respond to a
specific request. We may retain e-mails and other information sent to us for our internal administrative purposes, and to help
us to serve customers better.
|
With Whom we may Share Information
We do not share personally identifiable information with other organizations, apart from those acting as our agents in providing
our product(s)/service(s), and which agree to use it only for that purpose and to keep the information secure and confidential.
We may share aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others. This information may include usage and
demographic data, but it will not include personal information.
|
Security
ASCC uses reasonable precautions to protect our users' personal information and to store it securely. Files containing your
information could be subject to production in a court of law. Even with all reasonable efforts to protect them, these files
could be accessed illegally or against our wishes. Credit card information is encrypted and is transmitted to us securely. In
addition, access to all of our users' information is restricted. Only ASCC employees who need the information to perform
a specific job (for example, a billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable
information. Information is kept on secure servers in a secure environment.
ASCC will not be liable for damages resulting from a release of the information that you provide us unless ASCC was grossly
negligent or acted with reckless disregard. By submitting information to ASCC, you agree to accept the terms of this
Privacy Statement.

Information Collection and Use
Like all website owners, ASCC receives and records information from your browser in our website server
logs, including your IP address and the page you requested. Aside from this standard tracking data, the only other personal
information our site collects about you is such data as you knowingly provide in one of our on-line forms. ASCC is the sole
owner of any information collected on this site. If you make a donation or purchase from our site,
we may occasionally share your postal-mailing address with other nonprofit organizations. Email addresses will never be
disclosed to any other party. If you prefer your information be withheld, please contact us with your name and address and
a request to not exchange your name. We will only release personal information to another organization with your consent,
or to the extent required by law.
Keeping this personal information secure is a top priority for us. Personal information is private and confidential; accordingly,
the information provided is stored in a secure location and is accessible only by designated employees, trained in the proper
handling of customer information. Whenever ASCC should hire other organizations to provide support services,
we will require them to conform to our privacy standards and allow us to audit them for compliance.

unsubscribe page.

In addition, we encourage our users to be aware, when they leave our site, to read the privacy statements of each and
every website that collects personally identifiable information. Please be aware that ASCC is not
responsible for the privacy practices of other websites. Please check the privacy statements of these other sites for more
information about their policies on collection and use of personal information.

ASCC may amend this privacy policy from time to time. If we make any significant changes in the
way we use your personal information, we will amend the information on this page.
